Salt water swimming

260 wonderful meters of salt water, overlooking the sea and surrounded by luxury cabanas. The edge facing the sea is in an infinity style so lying on the in water sun beds watching the day melt away is pretty glorious! Not only that but swimming the 520 meter round trip from sunbed, back to sunbed is definitely going to count as my dose of exercise for today! I've never been the strongest swimmer and a 'near death by drowning' experience in the Caribbean during my early teens somewhat put me off swimming. However, it's far to hard to resist the salt water pool- and I can touch the floor the whole way around (bonus!). One of the major benefits to swimming in a salt water, as opposed to chlorine, pool is that you don't end up with yucky red eyes- never a good look on holiday! It also aids with buoyancy and makes you feel as if you could just bob about forever.
It's now technically day two of the holiday and I am feeling incredibly 'zen', yes the cocktails help, but everyone needs to escape from the day to day workings of life every once in a while!
Now tomorrow is 'take over' day. So don't blame me for anything! My dad will have access to my Instagram, Twitter and blog. I will most likely still be posting to Instagram as well (I'm hooked) but there will also be some input from him. I am not sure what he's planning on writing/talking about but he has carte Blanche so you could all be in for a bit of a surprise! I apologise in advance for the dad jokes that I'm sure will crop up.
